My passion for photography began in Los Angeles in the 80’s when I purchased my first SLR, a Nikon F3HP. As most enthusiastic novice photographers, I wanted to shoot anything and everything Not long after I began to get serious about photography, I discovered that my forte was in capturing images of people and their personalities.
I realized I wasn’t the type of photographer who enjoyed solitude of vast landscapes; I needed people, I needed characters. Nothing makes me happier than having an interesting character in front of my camera. So, naturally I ended up becoming primarily a Portrait Photographer.
I am the Chief Editorial Photographer for a magazine in Metro DC area. That takes most of my time however I still take on assignments for Model Developments, Corporate Headshots, Actor Headshots, Family Portraiture and Weddings. I am also the Official Photographer of Miss District of Columbia US and Miss Maryland US.
